Wine Cellar Humidity Control
A cellar that holds temperature but dries out will push corks within two years. Humidity is set with the cooling, measured in the room, and held within the range corks need.
What this one is
One page inside the cellar systems group — 55 – 75 % rh · held, not guessed. What follows is how it meets the wall, how the rows are pitched, and what the drawing has to settle before anything is cut.
Where it goes
It is built with integrated cooling rather than a separate chiller.
Bottle fit and cradle pitch
Every row is cut to the bottles it will hold, and the drawing labels which row takes which shape.
What the drawing fixes
Everything on the drawing comes back to four numbers: lead time Ships with the cooling, 35 – 50 days. Change one of them and it is a different cabinet, drawn again rather than stretched. Cooling-integrated · Add-on are the mounting conditions this one is drawn for.

Before you order a wine cellar humidity control
Why does humidity drop in a cooled cellar?
Because the evaporator condenses water out of the air as it cools it. A unit with no humidity control will sit at 40 – 50 % RH, which is where corks start to shrink.
Too much humidity — is that a problem?
Above 80 % RH you get mould on labels and timber. Both directions are failures, which is why we control the range rather than just adding a humidifier.
Can I retrofit it to a cellar I already have?
Usually yes. If the existing unit has no humidity logic we add a standalone humidifier with its own sensor, which is cheaper than replacing the cooling.

Send the wall, not the wish list
Three photographs and the bottle count is enough for a scheme and a fixed price.
